Free Gold on NA

16

Hello,

on Russian server, WoWS players got 2 days of premium as compensation for servers being unstable, now NA is giving free gold to their players, meanwhile on EU & Company, we are enjoying, and excuse my British slang, a big plate of nearly F**k all!

newgold_header_684x280

-From March 4, 03:20 PT / 06:20 ET until April 1, 04:20 PT / 07:20 ET.

Every day you log into World of Tanks, you receive 5 Gold!

Get an extra 5 Gold every day with a Premium account!

But wait… there’s more!

Earn 10.000 and 35.000 XP and you will get, guess what! 5 Gold for each as well!

(Once per day and all modes except Rampage)

In total, WG NA is giving 540 Gold if players do things well.

You know… I could be very jealous of NA players right now but my second main account resides on that server.

Why people are surprised at EU staff being a bunch of lazy twats surprises me.

Remind me, didn’t players on the EU server just have the chance to earn a total of about 320 gold last month, and all for nothing more than basically winning and placing top ten on the team in a couple of random battles per day during each week?

I thought so, so how is that deal any different than this new deal on the NA server, other than they get to earn a bit more gold in exchange for a bit more time and effort?

And how does it make the EU staff a bunch of lazy twats?

a whopping 540 gold…..and all it takes is to play roughly 40-50 battles per day for almost a month.

@Rita So the EU community is getting “nearly f**k all” is it? Really? M’kay…

In that case, maybe you could refresh our memories a bit here, but didn’t players on the EU server just have the chance to earn at least 320 gold last month through the Baptism of Fire mission, and all for nothing more than winning and placing top ten on their team in a couple of random battles per weekday?

Yeah, I thought so, so how is that deal last month on the EU server any different than this months deal on the NA server, other than the NA players get to earn a bit more gold in exchange for a bit more of their time and effort?

Also, @Carrotmoon, how does this ‘deal’ specifically make the EU staff a bunch of lazy twats?

Just seems like a bit of an over-reaction when you consider last months Baptism of Fire mission reward and that this months updated Baptism of Fire mission gives players the chance to earn three ‘2 hour, 2x XP’ Personal Reserves per weekday just for winning and finishing top ten in 5 random battles each day, with the chance to win three additional Personal Reserves per weekday through the secondary Brothers In Arms platoon mission (for those that do).

Not to call anyone here ungrateful, but…

Well, that reminds me of the 30 gold per day event(s) on ASIA. They did it twice so far.
The first time was 30 gold per day for a month for simply being top 10 in xp on the team 3 times, if I remember correctly. I got like over 3k gold from that and the events that give low tier prems.

Yeeeeeah I’m usually with the “EU is getting shafted, just look at NA” crowd, but this isn’t such a great event. With the dates provided it’s 28 days, so the bonus just for logging in every day is a whooping 140 gold. Giving premium account users a better deal on events is not something I’m a fan of, but anyone who gets premium for this is silly, since that’s just another 140 gold and you have to maintain the premium account for a month. The missions are a shit way to earn gold. They’re a marathon level commitment for a month, and if you actually go for that you get a whole 280 of gold, whoop de doop.

Now compare all of this crap to last month’s “boot camp” event on EU. That was a proper gold giveaway.
