WoT Console: Update 4.1 Notes

In a nice move from WG Chicago-Baltimore, some update notes and balance changes for their next update! So far 4.1 is looking to be released on October 10th:

New Features

  • Server Replays: view your last last five battles during the same gaming session — pause, play, skip forward/backwards, change speeds and camera
  • Siege Mode: The Swedish nation introduces new gameplay mechanics and aiming system, only available on certain high-tier Swedish tank destroyers. The TDs are equipped with a unique hydro-pneumatic suspension where they can raise and lower the front of their hulls. Because the guns are fixed to the hull, they have little gun traverse and rely on their hull to change their gun direction and elevation. This limits them to two firing modes: Drive and Siege. In Siege, the Camouflage Net and Binocular Telescope remain active during hull movement.
  • Persistent Platoons: two-person Platoons can move between eligible game modes without disbanding

Vehicle Updates

All Vehicles

  • Radio weight is now included in the “Mobility” stat bar calculation and Power/weight ratio display. This does not change the performance of any vehicles and just updates the display to be correct.
  • As with previous HD updates, some of the displayed armor values have now changed as new/additional armor plates have been added during the HD process. Where no change is indicated the Front/Side/Rear display will display the same numbers as before, but the armor model has been remade into HD, so it will be a new model possibly with different armor and values elsewhere.

    This is certainly a start in the right direction, the M53/55 nerf will be welcomed to everyone who doesn’t play it, the only thing that bothers me is the AMX 50B didn’t get an aim time buff

    Its very interesting that console choose not to remove the waffle, as on console its fine and balanced, but they mirror so many pc changes wholesale… That said bring on more gun depression for my rampanzer and e50!

      The waffle does not have the rep it does on the pc. We understand what it can and cant do and then rush on the load. The 183s brits and artys are far more feared then the waffle.
