The T28 in a ditch.
The photo shows the T28 prototype heavy tank after it fell off a transporter this weekend. Apparently, the brakes on the HET which was moving the T28 suffered a failure, resulting in the tank coming loose. Fortunately, no one was hurt although the tank reportedly suffered some damage to a few bogies. Updated Due to Facebook links changing. Continue reading “T28 Accident”

In 2017, Tiger Day will take place on both 29 April and 16 September. These two dates will be the only opportunities all year to see Tiger 131, the only functioning Tiger 1 in the world, running. For Tiger fans this is a day not to be missed!
