Chrysler K GF & Other Test Server Findings

Quick bit of news, some users over at Reddit have found the following in the 9.18 test server.

First up is a Grand Finals edition of the Chrysler K heavy tank. Apparently completely replacing the original in the game files.kehwdou

The premium Shermsn, Thunderbolt VII, has been stripped of its paint scheme.mp0qmzs

The premium Lorraine 40t is getting a magazine reload nerf, from 34.52 seconds to 35.24.

And good news for Swedish fans, the Swedish Centurion recieved a massive buff to its engine, from 650hp to 900hp, bringing horsepower-to-ton ration to 17.72hp/t.

Thats it for now, folks.

My first thought on the Chrystler K GF: if this is the Grand finals tank what will happen to T92 light tank? Is there any hope it will go to the tech tree?

    1. Renarde_Martel says:

It may be sold as a premium regardless. Currently the T71is the tier 7 LT for both light tank ‘branches’ AFAIK. (Technically the second LT branch is only like three vehicles, and only because M7 is now an LT as well)

Yeah, that makes it way more balanced now. Well done, WG.

  3. Chrysler K… better then another tier 8 Soviet I guess… would be nice if we could have a tier 8 US TD… or Britsh HT… or even a British TD
Not overly interested in the Sherman Thunderbolt, Talk to me when the AC3 Thunderbolt is coming
Lorrain… here’s hoping it ends up good
Still fail to see the need of a Centurian clone for the Swedish line. Would rather historical stats for the Swedish HT and then the historical Emil 1 as a premium

  4. It would be absolutely absurd to introduce the Strv 81 with those stats, it’s faster and has almost twice the turret armor. This to me means 2 things – either it’s just a test for them to see what happens during supertest or British tanks are about to get some massive buffs.

      1. Bricktop says:

It would be too dumb. While patriot is objectively better than t32, you can’t say it’s better in every aspect, same with KT/Liberte, and defender/skorpion are both situational. But it would be flat out better in EVERY single way Cent 1, they can’t afford such a move.

Aww, they promo’d the Chrysler K…then again, it was scared to high hell the other day…must’ve been a Ford. ๐Ÿ˜›

Jokes aside, I’m sure the Chrysler GFK will be fine. And by the sounds of the Thunderbolt VII, it might be offered as two different options like the T26E5, AMX M4 49, and Object 252? That’d be nice.

  6. Steve says:

Ugh, the Chrysler K was one of the only vehicles that I was looking forward to, and they’ve gone to the trouble of effing it up with a modeled logo. Oh well, that’s $50 that I can put towards something else I guess.

    1. Brett Brakefield says:

At least the only one truly effed up will forever be the AMX 13 57…and even that isn’t a terrible eye sore…just wish I could camo it. Kind of like overwriting camo values, y’know?

  7. nrnstraswa says:

Darn, was thinking of picking up a Chrysler K when it eventually comes out. Definitely not interested if it looks like that in the premium shop.

Still interested in the Strv 81, looks like I don’t even need to grind myself a Centurion 1 now.
