Hello,
Ive finally posted online the footage were I fired my first tank gun, a 76 mm gun from a Scorpion, not too bad for a start!
It’s amazing how much the vehicle suppressed the noise, although I’m aware that the armor would take some of sound away, I was expecting a bit of a louder bang noise in the inside because the hatches were open. Also, felt really uncomfortable as the trigger was pressed by foot, I have tiny feet and still could be so easy to misstep on it, was literally grabbing my left leg to make sure it wouldn’t go near it after the shell was in bc I do stupid things when nervous.
Didn’t get to keep the shell case as a souvenir but did try my luck.
-And should’ve brought the brown pants. :P-
This took place at Wicksteed at War, I enjoyed this event so much that offered to help for the next year event and I’m now one of the organisers. If you wanna join me for some fun, you are more than free to apply as a volunteer, contact info:Β http://www.wicksteedatwar.co.uk/event-management/contact-us/
Dang I hope WG dont hear the noise of the gun and implements it.
Just a very weak popper shell. Barely enough to give recoil, but I’m sure near the front of the tank it was pretty loud. Good job Rita! Try to convince them that HE should be the next step up! π
You look very happy in there.
Rita has fired her gun… Whos the bitch now??
Pretty damned cool, Rita.
I wouldn’t call that a tank.
Not even a t0nk.
Maybe you will habe the chance to watch some real tanks fire their guns. From my own experience I can tell you that the 120mm Leopard gun produces an incredible bang.
Where are the base clips? Damn, dude playing crew commander, it’s just a 76mm blank, ram that sucker in with your fist–and get a set of leather gloves. Rita, cover your arcs! And “yeah” is not a proper gunner’s response! And someday you need to fire a proper live tank gun round; it’s about 1 million times more awesome than a blank round. π
That was the slowest scorpion driver i have see, u shud see me drive my scorpion in AW.. π
