But why don’t give people the option of grinding the Fv215b183 from the Conqueror for example? Now I think even some paying customers who don’t play often enough will not have the time to grind it…
Also, now WG cares about line consistency? What about the M-103 and the T110E5 who really don’t fit their line?

How does the M103 and E5 not fit their line, strong turret armor decent hull armor, and a good gun with average DPM… it’s the same from tier 7 upwards…

This is SO WRONG! The FV215b 183 is an iconic TD in the game, and most like to play it and see it in game. Why would Wargaming take this very fun tank out of the game? People play WoT for fun….

The 183 doesn’t belong in the tree. Wargaming admitted it in a video saying how the change from tier 9 to 10 is the most drastic compared to all other TD branches. As I have 500+ games in the 183 it would be sad to see it go, but change is welcome.

      1. If you already have the 215b or the 183 then you will be keeping them as they are being designated as reward tanks , they will stay in your garage and you will get the new tier X replacements as well . The 215b and 183 will just not be available in the tech tree again so DON’T SELL THEM as you will lose them for good 🙂

This is the new “trend”, replace tanks, to “force” people into playing unpopular lines and premium tanks. New WoT’s paradigm. What never changes, it’s the “fuck the players” mind set.

      1. Berto72 says:

the new trend “force” people to grind so players play more for credits, pay more often for golds, buy more often premiums tanks

How come people use Tank Inspector even for releasing supertest leaks, but no one is interested in keeping the project alive.

The DPM of 3701 without rammer and BiA looks very impressive. I wonder if the armore profile is more effective than that of the Tortoise.

I don’t mind WG removing the tier 10 heavy FV215(b), since it never existed in the first place, but the Deathstar was a real project and is a very unique tank in the game. I’d hate to see it go.

  5. Never mind says:

This thing looks like love! I can not wait to have her. For all its fame, the 183 never the fit the line and was just a one trick pony.

Looks nice, but why does the russian 122mm gun on a tier 9 TD get 440 alpha dmg, but the 123mm gun on the british only 420 alpha dmg??

  7. Nocomment says:

If that thing finds its way onto a ridge line it will be an absoloute beast by the look of it.
3,7k dpm -10 degrees gun dep 30 degrees traverse and very bouncy armour given the slope. On the flat however that armour looks pretty poor.

Selfishly I don’t care about the Fv’. I get to keep mine and this is another tank i will get…./leaves the building.

      1. Nocomment says:

Those values appeared to be effective armour. If so, the only part of the front that is 300mm is that band across the gun.

  8. Rogais says:

Loved Tortoise, would be happy to get Tortoise at tier X without the bigass weakspots on the frontal armor. This seems like magic. Unless it has bigass weakspot on the frontal armor. Which it will, because you can’t ask people to figure out the “going around thing”.

  9. Nayan S says:

    British with a 123mm gun?
123mm? Is that a typo, or a weird British measurement something-pounder gun?
I know they had a 60-pdr field piece, but that was a 120mm artillery cannon…

Is the gun legit, or another WoT invention for the sake of game balance and money-making?

  10. RAD FROOD 25 (Console) says:

God’s I wish I had a gaming PC that way I’d actually witness balance and what looks like actual tanks not pathetic reskins

yeah, I’ve been concerned too, FV205 was based from FV201 which was lead to the conqueror, FV217 was based from FV214 (Conqueror) which has literally no blueprints, just an index to be a self-propelled anti-tank gun on a conqueror platform, however in this case but the FV205 superstructure upon the FV214 Conqueror… WG better have a explanation…

though it may be understandable, the FV201 had armour 76.2mm on the hull and 152mm on the turret, if it was the ‘original’ FV205, then it would have poor engine power, less armour or probably more and armed with a 120mm gun, would probably be Tier VIII or IX.
