looking forward to that mode… and to seeing WG fail at implementing wheeled vehicles and WWI tanks into the regular game.

    1. Manuel says:

Multiturrets are already in development and devs said they might consider wheeled AFV’s in the future.
Like it or not, it WILL happen. It is only a matter of time.

    2. Manuel says:

I never smile mate. And you sound really salty, I guess whatever happened between you and wg left you angry enough to completely destroy your credibility.
Seriously mate, if you are going to just scream and rant, do not bother posting.

      1. Me says:

Sonny, after nearly 80 000 battles in WoT, where I was since its public release, I experienced endless shitting in face from belorussian cocks in form exactly identical as promises you are propagating. This ended in 2014 when serious competition in form of Armored Warfare was released. Now I am only laughing at those, who still dont get what is this all about – promises, pledges, words, while taking your money and getting your face dirtied from their shit.

    3. Manuel says:

WG is still miles more credible than Gaijin mate. Regardless, your kind of toxic attitude is highly unhelpful and only contributes into making the community a worse place.
There is a difference between being critical and being an overly cynical eyesore.

    4. Manuel says:

And the trailer is out showing multi turrets and wheeled vehicles.
See? You can actually be positive once in a while.

  2. So… they always said they’d never do wheeled vehicles. If they now can and have there are some interesting Armoured Cars that would fit into mid to lower tiers in regular WoT.

  3. Certainly they cannot do a WWI British tank as illustrated without multi-gun capability. The actual firing programming is already done – it’s the normal mode of fire in WoWS after all. It’s peripheral programming that needs perfecting – like sighting through one gun while the other points straight at an adjacent ally!

Of course, these are stills, so prove nothing…

I was excited – 100 years of tanks…the MK1 – we might get to drive an arcade version – but the guys at Gamescon said no – we get to drive the armoured cars 🙁 Dont get me wrong – they look cool and fun – BUT it’s 100 years of TANKS – so we should drive a TANK not an armooured car – Epic fail WG 🙁

I bet some developer looked at Battlefield 1 tank gameplay and like “holy shite, we should try to make WW1 tank too! If EA can then we should be able to!”

  6. wolvenworks says:

soo…..does that mean they fixed the multi-turret system?

in case some of you get it, the Mark tanks (those big lozenges) have sponsons on each side so each Marks carry a gun on each side

  7. Mkoo says:

“Hey, have you seen that Battlefield 1 thing?”
“Yeah, blyat looks cool. We also have a good excuse to copy the vehicles this year”
“Call the team. Stop everything and start working on a WW1 mode. Don’t forget wheeled vehicles even though we totally don’t have any mechanics for that”

    1. marianr87 says:

They confirmed a couple of years ago that they managed to overcome the engine limitation of the time and succeeded in making wheeled vehicles possible, but that it didn’t mean they would be implemented.

Now as tank trees seem to be thinning out and player numbers have stabilized they are ready to review the fundamentals of the game and at least test the workings and popularity of different things, hence some of these fun modes and the sandbox server.

What I’m saying is that this fun mode might be a test of how wheeled vehicle mechanics and multiple gun mechanics will be received and what problems they will encounter. If the fun mode will be a failure than these features will probably not be seriously considered for the future and remain as a “fun mode”.

Looks like an exact copy of Bovington’s Mk 1, the paint scheme with the steering trailer and anti grenade screens on the roof.

The latest patch for WoWS downloaded this morning. I’m sure there was a comment that Scondaries would no longer cause ‘friendly fire’ hits. I’m not sure if this means they don’t fire, or that hits don’t cause damage. I would hope the former. Either way, the same would be needed for multi-gun tanks. Aim through one gun, treat the other(s) as secondaries.

Since it was your parent’s job to educate you and not mine, i’ll just leave you oblivious to the meaning of word “irony”.
