I’m actually looking after this game, what do you think so far about it?
Nice throwback to Eart2160 (game) or might even Warzone 2140… something around those lines.
Always good if a game doesnt take it self to seriously 🙂
Like the SpaceShips in WOWS – those were awesome…
Looks a bit generic doh. As i said: those conepts are easily 20years around and things like ROBOCRAFT (free to play) allows ENDLESS configurations like those 😐
So i cant (yet) see what would be so special about it.
(not to mention, its from wg… so there will be bullets going trough, glitchy maps, back n forth performance and so on…….)
All in all: Meh. I pass.
Sums up what I was about to say especially the WG bit which is more disincentive to try it after 5 years of seeing them in “action” in WOT.
Also aren’t there a few isometric mech’ games doing the rounds currently.
Keep in mind WG will only be the publisher for this game, so it doesn’t have to be bad.
And they also learned from some of there mistakes in WoT and already fixed them in WoWs even though they are somehow unable to retrofit that fix back to WoT.
The ACRV-14 (Advanced Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle?) DRAGON kinda looks like the GDI Predator Tank.
Funny how their games are still full of bugs, and they start new projects, like their games are prefectly fine, as they are… Seriously, this last WoT 9.15.1 is the worst patch of all time. I encountered mroe bugs, than ever before. MM is still nonsense RNG lottery, same as arty, but why not, start a new project. Maybe just maybe we might have something from global rebalance, but I doubt. They have 3 games, + Master of Orion, they started WoT 2.0, and now this… I don’t get it…
ever come to mind that WG has more than 1 team who develops games? ever thoguth about that maybe WG hired some devs to make that game, like they did with MoO? WG didn’t develop that game, they merely published it.
Yep, WG is just the publisher. Extreme Developers create the game.
They might not be the developers, but indeed that money or resources could have been spent on broken things first.
Still, they could have been using those resources better.
Rita when you will bother about the fact that 9.15.1 brought a fatal bug into the game. Most players are calling it Lag, but during this so called Lag the FPS are dropping from 125 to 10-21. It shows 10-21 FPS but the game completly freezes for some secs. WG EU is actively deleting posts about this bug so no one will know. I asked about 10 players that had this ‘Lags’ to tell me the FPS during this Lags and all said the same, it drops hard and can be even seen in the replays.
the WoT graphics engine is directly tied to the network engine – this is nothing new
stop using a potato graphics card?
1st FPS doesn’t depend on any Network, it’s depended on your PC. Exept you everyone knows this.
2nd So a GTX 980 is called a Potato GPU nowadays ?
3rd And I bet a i7 6700K is also called a Potato CPU
Hi, Camn.
In fact not giving a shit about, after seeing one intro ripped off from Fallout intros, and some images.
Evidently the big WG product which TMJ was alluding to in “Mingles” this week. I’ll give it a go.
top-down mech shooter – sounds really really boring
I was hoping for a strategy game inspired by Mech Commander series
not interested. i’m not a big fan of post-apocalyptic scenarios (excluding Fallout), and i’m a real sticker to Gundam-style mechas (western mechas are boring and unrefined)
Not going to lie “Hybrid Wars: Machines Engage” isn’t exactly the greatest of names…
No Mammoth tank ? Disaapointted
Who needs mammoth if you have 巨大人型戦闘ロボット ???
LOL, Wargaming whacked it with a copyright strike 😛
LOL Win7 as sys requirement but still DX9 graphics? *facepalms*
FFS the specs. Good even the lowest requirement need 4 GB of RAM and Core i3 with 3.2Ghz. Damn it, my PC only got 4 GB and core i5 with 2.5 Ghz. lol and the GPU is 2nd class grade which is so high compared with GT series in 4th class. I guess the only option that I’ve is just stick to WoT.
I guess I’m the first to note that WG messed up on their helicopter. The dual-rotor setup, as used on the Kamov Ka-50, Ka-52, Ki-27, Mil Mi-28, and Sikorsky X2 is designed to allow for higher flight speeds and eliminate the need for a tail rotor. However, the blades sets have to be rotating in opposite directions, which does not appear to be the case on WG’s model.
Note the direction of the blade tip sweep – helicopter blade tips are always swept back. Both sets of blades on the model are designed to rotate clockwise, which will make the performance little different than a typical helicopter – except it’s missing a tail rotor and so its flight will be limited to spinning in circles.
It looks like a Ka-50 on steroids…
At first looking at the page I thought this was an early april fool’s joke, but with the steam link I guess it’s serious…. had no idea WG had even thought about making a game like this, I guess they finally decided to use GPG’s talents after all.
Even if this game is good I’m not sure that there are enough hours in the day (between WoT, WoWs & AW)…particularly since if I take up a new game it’ll be something space-related.
i cant wait to see the japanese gundam tree!!
looks like a moderniztion of the Mechwarrior RTS
I like that Mammoth Tank/Scorpion Tank hybrid. Kind of reminds me of Duskie-06’s tanks on dA

this looks like what total annihilation producer Chris Taylor would make… if it is, I look forward for it
Well, in 2013 WG bought the Total Annihilation franchise from Atari so this might be a partial result of that. I’ve never played Total Annihilation, but I LOVE Supreme Commander, so if it follows that pattern, I’m all in too.
