Direct X 9 is so outdated, when they going to focus on modern PC’s and not Potatoes?
While with World of Tanks its understandable that they need to satisfy their home market first I from the opinion they should scale things up a bit for Master of Orion.
I was more saying it mockingly 😛 but I do agree, WoT is understandable but Master of Orion would be better with more updated specs.
I guess the game doesn’t have the visual fidelity or complexity that would require to use newer version of DirectX.
Have some cheese with that whine…
Can’t you at least recognize the fact that 64bit windoze is REQUIRED….
Coming from WG that’s a huge step, windoze XP is probably still being used on like 70% of russian toasters.
The cynical me is being extremely suspicious of 2016.
X-COM 2, Tales of Symphonia for PC (Yeah, yeah, garbage port, mods fixed it though), Codename Panzers Phase 1&2 on GOG, Nekopara Vol. 2, Master of Orion Early Access, The Division and a decent patch for WoWS…
2016 is starting way too well for me when it comes to videogaming.
Now of course The Division and MoO still have to prove themselves, but what I’ve played so far of the former and seen so far of the later makes me hope.
Then again, Total War: Warhammer is also hiding around the corner waiting to be released in what will be buggy, unbalanced, badly coded and if Creative Assembly’s latest track record is anything to go by the gameplay will also be bad.
So I guess cynical me still has some “hope” for 2016…
Building games for potato computers still….
The lower the system requirements, the larger the potential playerbase, the more money they can potentially make.
How to kill a franchise; Design and build it for low-end russian toasters!
or; consolise it and claim out-dated static next-gen tech is superior to PC hardware. (or both usually in the case of Wargaming)
Looking forward to this!
i hate this cartoon-ish style of animations. The colours that are used make me think this game is meant for 5-10 years old kids…
