Usually when they give less on specials when they have been giving something previously but I checked the calendar and the only recent event was the “Lets play Japanese Tanks!” that no one really gives a crap about and overall, this year we got less missions, less discounts and more tanks being sold, milking much?

What do you think?

  1. Nya-chan Production says:

Or maybe there’s upcoming 5th anniversary of WoT on EU (12th April) and there will be more actions there, since 5th anniversary is somewhat more special than 4th in eyes of many. But yeah, let’s compare two actions year apart, because they absolutely have to be the same. But only if you get more, of course.

  2. Pecinskey says:

    Definite milking confirmed,Rita.

I’ve noticed they stopped creating interesting and tempting missions and offers, but rather all the ‘interesting offerings’ WG EU provides(and provided recently) are 30-60 euro bundles, that for example I, as a person from the Balkans with shitty living standards, cannot afford.
Bad move to use us as whales, WG EU. Bad move.

  3. ShelbyGT500 says:

I don’t know if NAs are crazy, but St. Patricks day is Irish so it’s right there is special on EU server.

      1. here its more of an excuse to wear an obscene amount of green, and drink a lot of dyed booze. more of an excuse to binge drink htan anything else.

      2. Americans have primarily British heritage, including many being Irish. For that reason many still celebrate it in the US — even if they don’t have Irish heritage its turned into a national holiday. Americans tend not to have any idea where their holidays come from or what they’re even celebrating, such as Halloween or even Thanks Giving. They’re kinda like children, both in spirit and when it comes to running a country kek

    1. Homer_J says:

It’s not the Irish who celebrate St Paddy’s day, it’s the Oirish. That’s anyone who likes to think they are descended from someone from Ireland but has no intention of ever visiting apart from maybe a stag do in Dublin.

  4. Seem to recall that the Yanks got the four leaf clover decal last year and EU didn’t.
BTW Rita there are a large number of people in the North Eastern and “Mid-West” cities who can trace their ancestry to the massive Irish immigration of the 19th century.

  5. Here in NA we even go so far as to dye the Chicago river green. Google it and find a time lapse video of them dyeing the Chicago River in Chicago, it is an awesome sight.

  6. I thought it was Irish-Americans that INVENTED St Patricks Day…but you wouldn’t know it by things here on the NA Server. Very curious indeed. The beauty of it is that on this day EVERYONE is Irish!

just finished mission….got emblem……and only than realized that it can be put only on 1 tank……..GG WG……….now go drown yourself in green river if you please

  8. piledriveryatyas says:

NA Server is out o lunch for this one. Pretty sure they’ve recognized it in the past. Oh well, glad to see you guys on EU got something good.

  9. siralexice says:

All the 3 tanks in the special are pretty shitty, IS3A is not a good crew trainer for russian heavies, M46 KR is ugly and faulted by lower pen in high tier matches, the only available play style for the P58 Mutz is to stay back and snipe.

3x crew experience is OKish, we can get to that 100% for crews on the 2nd or 3rd skill.

Personal reserves are tempting, WG sure does like to milk us of money – it costs them next to 0 to make those reserves but ask us for a good amount of cash to sell them.

Actually I find the event decent. It might be a bit lesser that last year but hey, nothing to complain about. I was just looking for some 8+tier sales since I bought VII last week during *nation* weekend (I like that idea actually) and have few 8s unlocked – call me cheap but I have enough tanks to play while waiting for sales on most that I unlock.
Finally WG is releasing prems without gigantic bundles and I got to admit its much more tempting now – luckily nothing I want to have 🙂

  11. The US specials lately have been crap – just about nonexistent. There’s no reason why things like camo, medium tanks, whatever shouldn’t be on sale at least once every 2-3 months. And, honestly, this is causing me to lose interest in the game somewhat.

  12. Xee says:

Everyone still complaining, oh my fucking god. Missions since 2015 got shit, no longer loads of credits etc, but that’s the way to sell more premium.
Did anyone notice that every bundle has now tank-only counterpart? That’s what everyone wanted through 2015, right?

  13. “EU in the other hand has been pretty quick this time” ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Yes – if this had been just a normal weekend special. However the event started on Thursday 17 March at 06:10.
Apart from the largely neglegted event calendar there was nothing posted about the special on the main site until someone in the Paris office noticed it around 10:30 on the 17th, 3h after the event had gone live.
I suppose the client must have shown it after the morning reset as there was no info about the special available on Wednesday.

So nothing new under the sun.
