they could make it lead from the kv3, or even from the kv2 as they just need a tier 7 to fill the role
I think it’s going to lead from the IS, my reasoning is the overall design elements been similar to the is series tanks, not talking about rear turret tho, but the overall similar shape of turret, mantlet, etc far more similar then the of series, unless they lead from the A44, to keep the play style similar and it’s not the first time meds have lead to heavies. Just my thoughts tho
It doesn’t make sense to branch it from the KV-3, since the first tank in the new branch is the IS-M.
Also, it doesn’t make sense for it to come from the KV-2, since that is a ‘derp’ tank, and will only ever lead to other derpy tanks. Now, I have seen a KV-2 turret on an IS chassis, but I don’t know if that was done during WW2, of if it was done later as a KV-2 stand-in.
Now, while these look interesting, I want to see what they plan for the russian multi-turret line. There are several tanks that I think look promising, and one of them is essentially a less armored multi-turret KV-2. If you are interested, look up the T-100Z. They made a turret for it, but it never got mounted. Depending if they huck multi-turret with multi-gun, the top tank would be the ST-II, with twin 122mm guns.
however there is another tank created in the post-war mounting 2 guns, known as Shashmurin’s “Tank of extreme parameters”, a drawing was left, you can see more here: http://ftr.wot-news.com/2015/02/13/shashmurins-tank-of-extreme-parameters/ it can potentially become a top tier
Ofcourse, they probably didnt want that chinese bootleg like the wz-111 1-4 being in the spotlight so they made this to out-bias that tank. Only stronk russian tanks must be good!
I would like to know some more details about that alternative tier x 122mm bl-13 gun of that tank. Seems like a good alternative to the 130mm gun.
