So basically the VK.3002 M with another paintjob. Haven’t compared it yet, but it wouldn’t surprise me of the stats of this thing are way better.

  2. MrEdweird says:

This is a VK 30.02, everything on it is exactly the same, the only difference is that it’s a bit heavier because it has 10mm more side armor.

I am okay with this, the VK 30.02 is an excellent tier 6 medium.
The VK is closer to the actual Panther than the thing at tier 7 is.

  3. Backslash says:

I am now very disappointed in wargaming. This tank has less power to weight ratio than the vk 3002d, at least according to the sources I used, by 1 ton, but that’s it. It has better turret traverse, dpm, and gun handling. It just a better tank than the non premium tier 6 panther isn’t it?

      1. A Dude says:

I love how all of you just ignore MrEdweird’s comment about how these tanks are actually exactly similar…the Pudel is, matter of fact, even slower.

  4. dimo says:

why so stupid name? It dont even look like a Pudel puppy (pudel = poodle) WG designs are tasteless in so many ways

    1. Rozkoszniaczek says:

“Pudel” was a commander of unit from Warsaw Uprising who was killed in action and this tank had his name. Another name of this tank is “Magda”.

    2. migmadmarine says:

Because that’s what the Poles who captured it during the uprising named it. (look at the front right mud guard)

  5. Anonymous says:

For those who don’t know, this actually is historically accurate. During the Warsaw uprising, the Polish captured a German Panther. This kinda does make it Polands tank.

Just as others have said. this Premium effective stats almost exactly the same as 30.02M. While not a bad tank, not unique at all and a lousy premium. Rudy / T34-85M and Panther 88 all had something unique to their researchable cousins, this has nothing.

I have a question (this may influence the next tech tree): Can I somewhere find a top that shows how big every WOT community is? And if not, does anyone know which is the biggest community between the Romanian, the Hungarian, the Spanish, the Italian and the ex-Yugoslav one?

Question: how to make more money? Answer: release a new premium tank. Question: Making a new tank into the game requires some effort for archive digging, modeling, balancing etc, and that comes with costs, how can we do better? Answer: Get a tank that is already in the game, make some minor change and tweak, sell it as a premium. Question: but people certainly wouldn’t be fooled by tricks like that, can we do better? Answer: give it a nice paint job, and make a teaser tank for a new tech tree so people get excited and overlook the fact it’s just a quick makeshift premium to suck more money in. Nailed it.

Problem: How to make more money?
Solution: sell a new premium tank in some bundles

Problem: making a new tank brings costs for digging in archives, making models and balancing, can we do better?
Solution: take a tank that is already in the game, tweak the visual so it’s not apparent they are the same. maybe change the stats a little bit.

Problem: people are not gonna buy clone of an in game tank just because we put it in the gift shop, any idea?
Solution: give it a nice paint job and tell people it’s a teaser tank for an upcoming new tech tree. it’s for people to train their crews before hand.

    Nailed it.

Lol you fucking crybabies, Berlin quartet are all reskins of existing tanks and people love them, yet you whine about this one. Gtfo, you don’t need to own one.

  11. Never mind says:

Oh boy a Polish panther. (vk 3002) is that what the full line will be? Panthers, Rudy’s … why another line, fix the shit that needs fixing before adding more stuff to the game.

  12. Doc says:

    Really??? A Panther Ausf. G on T6???
YESSS!!! Shut up and take my money!!!!

    Oh, wait…

    It’s under polish flag…

Don’t want it anymore. FU WG!

  13. heinz says:

I think I have a unpopular opinion: I don’t mind polish tanks but I do mind more soviet tanks. I am officially a soviet tank hater but ok. Its a Russian game so we need Russian tanks. But the Chinese tanks are already Soviets as well and CHK/Slowakian low tier tanks are soviet as well. We don’t need another techtree with tanks that have the same concept/design as already existing ones

    1. Qill says:

Yo, where did u come up with “CHK/Slowakian low tier tanks are soviet as well”? Tier
1-6 are purely czech made, 7 is soviet, and 8-10 are czech blueprints….

  14. HUN_Sector says:

And for what? Just for siemkas to buy it? Whats the reason to give a whole tree for a nation who does not have better tanks than tier 3? For those who only survived several days as a sovereign country in ww2 and does not have any real developement? Giving them 95% clones, just because of the amount of playerbase?
Screw it… This is simply crap and a shame.

    1. Anonymous says:

Ok you can insult polish players. But whats next? You are one inch toller? Your small country will be bigger? Nop still nothing like that will be happend. Sic!

  15. wolvenworks says:

soo i guess a tankette is outa the question for a Polish prem lol. seriously curious if they’re gonna bother putting the TKS or 7TP in

  16. Anonymous says:

Everybody here seems so quick to hate WG for powercreeping the VK 30.02 M…I’m sorry, what exactly are you smoking? Those two tanks are almost absolutely similar, the Pudel has even worse power-to-weight ratio and less terrain resistance, making it effectively slow. Armor is exactly the same and gun is exactly the same as well.

    WHAT ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT?

  17. Anonymous says:

The Polish Home Army (Armia Krajowa) attacked 3 Panther G’s moving through Warsaw together. One burned out but two were captured and put in service under the Zoska Battalion. “Pudel” was in the best condition. This tank was also informally called “Magda” by her crew. The second tank was “Feleks” but due to damage and lack of parts it wasn’t operable for very long. “Pudel” was used in action to successfully liberate a small Nazi concentration camp in Warsaw. One of the HQ Officers of the Zoska Batallion was a very close friend of the family, and told me all about the uprising. These men and women were brave and tough. They only had enough resources to start combat and capture the city just before the Soviets arrived. Instead, Stalin stopped his troops AND DID NOTHING BUT WATCH from the other side of the Vistula River – FOR TWO MONTHS! He intentionally allowed the Germans to heavily reinforce and slowly grind down the AK in full view of his idled army. No one expected the AK to hold out as long as they did.
