Well, lets hope it has an alternate gun, though people use to the Panther/M10 or VK30.02(D) might be able to get the most out of it.

To be fair, this is supertest and everything is subject to change IF it is found to be unbalanced for its tier. Considering this is a tier 7 medium and looks to be rather lightly armored and could possess rather high HP/T ratio, 300 alpha on 10.9 second reload over a .4/100m accuracy isn’t all that bad. it’s probably gonna be a ridge-liner, most likely won’t be a brawler with the traverse speeds. 155 Pen for a 107mm isn’t great, but it is only tier 7 and in comparison with the A-44’s 107mm with 167mm pen, 0.45/100m accuracy and how well that gun performs, I think it will fit right in.

  1. Armour looks awful? as no details
engine power ratio etc? no details

    Gun –
from what I can see 155 penetration at T7! when you consider it will see Tier 9? or is it preferential MM?

Gun looks complete rubbish if that’s the top gun this Swede will be unpopular for sure, little interest even with big alpha – if you cannot pen T8 and T9 at all
gun stats need far more work and info (sure Rita is on it though

Well, the Swedes are known for mobility, so the acceleration is probably going to be pretty good.

Firepower wise, look at the VK 30.02(D). Same (or worse with the 8.8cm) penetration, but with significantly worse damage.

I can see the Leo as a sort of “Hit-and-Run” or “Ambush” type of vehicle. Good mobility, powerful (though not a High-Pen) gun, good gun depression, and very limited armor.

It is also still early in the Super-Tester, and we only see one of the possible weapons, so this could end up having multiple “Top Gun” upgrades available.

Most tier 7 mediums have bad pen – and 155 is actually decent compared with other tier 7 mediums. If you want to bring up the whole question of why so many tier 7 mediums have around 150 pen, that is another discussion.

    1. wheeledtank says:

Not to mention that vehicles like the T-34-1 are stuck with 120mm of pen, poor accuracy, and poor damage until you get around 40k XP.

The only tanks that do stand out in terms of penetration are the A-44 (every other gun has 120mm or less pen), T20 (Same XP problem as T-34-1 and A-44), T-34-1, Panther (with laughable damage), and T-34/100 (whose gun costs 15k in XP)

For me it starting to look like T5-6 will be the sweet-spot on this line (for me at least) and those are the last production-vehicles. Good depression, support tanks, sort of like the what I would have liked the Achilles to be (but it did not have the depression).

On the other line I will aim for the T10 – Strv 103B (hopefully a E-25 on steroids)….

The upper plate looks almost like an auto-bounce zone, if it has 50+ mm armor. The gun seems pretty good, 155 pen is amazing if you are used to the Comet and VK (D) like I am 😛

  5. Anonymous says:

If it has good gun depression and decent hp/t it could be a very good flanker. Wait for tanks to fire then chunk them for 300hp, 155pen is enough to pen the sides of T7 tanks.

Skorpion G is a flop, J88 was a unique great tier 8 german TD, the skorpion is just a copy/paste from the JP2, where you put a turret that have poor traverse, but really, keep using it fan boys, I love the free exp that i get killing these poor TD’s.
