No it doesn’t. They do not count tracks as armor anymore since a long time ago, but no one seems to notice it or care about it. I think the remodel of Foch 155 to HD was the last time Tracks counted as +10-20mm armor.

You can look it up, the newest HD Tank with Tracks on the Hull like Chinese 110 the VK45B or the new French Heavys. All with no added Armor. People that have Influence and could bring this to attention like Rita doesn’t care anymore or ignore it. IS4 for example has +30mm armor on his lower plate look it up https://tanks.gg

I forgot the WZ-120-1G FT a premium Tank where the Tracks ofc count as +20mm Armor. And exactly placed there where the WG autoaim would aim at frontaly, what a coincidence. [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅] [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅] [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°̲̅)̲̅$̲̅]

On most tanks, the added Tracks add anywhere between 10-20mm of armor (even the tier III LTB has a bit of extra front armor thanks to a small strip of armor). Incidentally, the Tiger’s tracks on the front do not count as “armor”, so there isn’t any nerf there at least

It’s a not a terrible version, but I prefer having the ability to make my tank look how I want it. They’d better work faster in that direction.

Hrmh. I usually like the “has seen some shit” look, but they went more than a bit overboard with that here imho. I don’t mind a few dents or scratches, but the missing or heavily damaged parts we see here? I dunno. The tree with the barb also doesn’t really fit.

  3. Ehhh I don’t like it… I prefer my tanks to not be covered with tons of junk like logs, cables, helmets and other shit. One of the reasons I love my Maus so much is the nice, clean aesthetic. If/when this remodel goes live I hope someone in the modding community brings back the old/current model.

I would rather have it as a separate skin for a milestone like for example do 100 battles in the tiger (random number) and that for every tank! That would be awsome for ppl that love a tank a bit more than others they have and want it to look just a bit more special!!!

    1. RoachMartel says:

This is a really Cool idea!

Special Skin packs for tanks based on the number of battles…. 100, 500, 1000 and so on. They can strat with the Iconic tanks and gradually make their way down.

I’d personally like that. I’m not a huge fan of seeing vehicles looking so worn there are parts missing/torn off (Like the new Tiger above) or have heavy damage in other ways.

    1. wolvenworks says:

bring back the tiger turbo engine? yeah nowadays the tiger and especially ktig is preety weak compared to the newer tanks like the O series, and as always the russians

      1. wolvenworks says:

my bad. Tiger 1 is ok. it’s Tiger p that i’m having an issue with. in most cases the stated 200mm front armor doesn’t exist. i’ve never bounced anything with it since ppl would just shoot the weak sides.

    2. Kyros says:

@nicht So you’re saying that new HD models like VK45B, Chinese 110 and the new French Heavy line are old models, from time when tracks were not an extra armor ?

You know that O-I Exp. has more armor on Tier 5 ? And that does not help him against other Tier 5 Tanks. What do you expect 100mm flat armor will do on Tier 7 ? Why do you fear a buff of +20mm armor ?

  5. Pangzhu says:

i understand that the track links dont count as armor on the tiger, but the removal is still just plain bad. the new model looks better in some ways, but the front plate looks so boring without the tracks on them…
