The Tank Museum and the Polish manufacturer Cobi have teamed up and created a 500 piece kit Tiger 131. The model is already being sold and part of the revenue will be used to support the continued preservation of the only running Tiger 131 which resides in Bovington.

The museum has mailed Jingles and I a model and I built it all during my past livestreams, took some photos:
I always appreciated watching model building but never had done it myself, this was my first one and I’m hooked to it already (currently building a Bandai AT-ST)!
- 28,5 cm Length
- 9,5 cm Height
- Rotating turret
- Gun elevation/depression
- Machine Gun elevation/depression
- Rotating wheels/tracks
- 4 hatches that can be open
- Tool box (Tools Included)
- 2 Crew Members
This model is aimed for both younger and older generations and it was fairly easy to build although I highly advice the adults to pre-build some of the smaller pieces like the machine gun and the tiny bits near the exhaust for their kids.
Overall it looks perfect under what you can build with lego-type pieces but I still wish there was a way to attach the tool box to the tank, my favourite part is definitely the gun depression/elevation capability, wasn’t expecting it.

LEGO for life.
Those Cobi tanks look nice!! I think I’ve got unbuilt model kits already though…
I’ve got their first Panther, Matilda, Chaffee, and Firefly kits, and they have been making them better and better the longer i’ve gotten them, the 131 is no exception, looking forward to getting one myself…
Lot of fun watching Rita build this.
Mildly tipsy, burning with fever and battling with pieces meant for 6 year old. xD
I took a long hiatus from building the LEGO T-90AM/MS. I will resume construction. I can let you see how the hull looks if you want?
Why does it only have 2 rows of road wheels, when it should have 3 rows.
those rows are doubled so its an ok move, even the 300$ brickmania tigers dont always have those triple wheels, its nothing to big to worry about, and unlike Lego, Cobi sticks to a strict piece count of 400/450/500/600 etc.that would have made it 516… and Cobi cant have that, shame, cause the Panther Ausf G kit they have would have been glorious if it would have had just 50 more pieces…
Piece restrictions, Cobi is very strict about its piece count, as well as ease of building, these kits are designed for children, whereas a super detailed brickmania kit is designed for the hobby builder… keep that in mind when you look at cobi tanks and you’ll appreciate their WWII tank kits…
Lol this looks an Armored Warfare rendering. Kidding but it just made me think of that since most people say they are blocky and plastic like.
Cobi kits are pretty grand :3 Also one of those minifigs reminds me of the_chieftain!
very very cool
I have good news for you. In their new catalogue COBI has announced new series based on WoT tank models 😀
