Bonds and Awards
Starting with Update 9.20.1, the Epic Medals and Battle Heroes achievements will be additionally rewarded with Bonds. Exceptions are accumulative medals. The number of Bonds is not final and might change.
Improvements to Bootcamp

Fixes:

- Fixed issues related to inappropriate display of some game hints (losing concealment when shooting, returning to the base circle)
- Fixed the rare issue related to inappropriate display of the Skip Tutorial button
- Battle results were removed from the Notification Center in the mode
- Fixed the issue related to display of the EULA window, when the game client is restarted

Improvements to the Grand Battle
The following changes were made to this battle type:
- Message about victory or defeat: added a new message about victory of defeat so that players know when and why the battle ended. The message displays separate animations for victory, defeat, and draw. The additional text provides information why the battle is over. When a battle ends because the base is captured, the progress bar of base capturing gets locked right before the message is displayed to show that the battle outcome cannot be changed. This functionality globally applies to all Random and Ranked Battles.
- Updated the reward tooltips that describe different completion conditions for the Grand Battle and other types of Random Battles. They were changed for simplicity of perception.
- Improved the HUD in the Grand Battle: transparency of the team list background was decreased to make information more legible on light backgrounds (sky, water, etc.) Borders were added in the top panel to make the empty progress bars more distinctive.

Switching to Wwise 2017.1.1
Switched to the new version, Wwise 2017.1.1, which allows further sound improvements.
Improvements to the Matchmaker
- Now, the matchmaker attempts to assemble the teams considering the roles within the vehicle types: e.g., the Maus is matched against another Maus, Type 5 Heavy, or E 100, while the T57 Heavy is matched against the AMX 50B, etc. However, in some situations, the matchmaking by roles will not be mirrored, e.g. in case of Platoons that comprise vehicles of different roles.
- Increased the chance of getting ranked at the top of the list for Platoon players.
- Equal chances of getting ranked in the top/middle/bottom of the list for different vehicle classes (previously, heavy and medium tanks would end up in single-level battles way too often, while SPGs and TDs tended to get ±2 and ±1 setups).
- Increased the chance of getting matched in a Grand Battle.

Does anyone know what is happening with the T71? If we own the DA are we getting the CMD? Is XP staying on the DA or moving to the CMD? There has been very little information about this it seems like.
XP is moving to CMCD, but you will have to buy CMCD yourself. It will be unlocked though. At least that’s what I’ve heard so far.
Yeah I found on the official release page a note to that effect just a minute ago, but I also just found a forum post where a guy says that’s not true, that his combat XP on the test client stayed with the DA.
This could get ugly, I’ve got 55k xp invested in the DA that could become useless if they mess this up.
Conqueror:
-Improved hull and turret armor.
-Changed the depression angle of 120 mm Gun L1A1 for the Conqueror Mk. II ABP turret from -7 degrees to -10 degrees
Why? The tier IX Conqueror seemed fine the way it was. 10 degrees of gun depression seems excessive. Are they adding spaced turret armor to the tier IX conq as well because that makes it so there isn’t much difference between the tier IX and tier X. Spaced armor should be the main feature of the tier 10 conq imo.
Conqueror gets spaced armour on the turret Super Conqueror get’s it on the upper front plate also.
Conq ROF got nerfed. . really sad WG has such a hard-on for the UK. sad.
I might give the FV4202 a run out now 🙂
Yehh, it’s a shame they don’t say where and by how much, since tanks.gg ignores this change completely and shows the exact same armor values as before.
Well since they made changes to final 9.20.1 release compared to the 2nd CT and it has not been updated yet. Wait 1-2 days for it to update to live 9.20.1 database. Hoping for the armor from 1st CT tho.
You Could have asked In RSR discord as I can pull armour profiles from test client directly
Fv turret is buffed to 200/90/90. I saw that in one of Russian streams
When the type 59 has arguably better bloom then the leopard1. Was hoping they would make its gun better.
I sense pz2 platoons to farm bonds ROFL
I sense Pzb2 platoons farming bonds.
i guess you mean Pz. IIJ. but the bonds for medals only work for tier 8 to 10 as far as i understood.
Actually it read tiers 4-10. (IV-X)
Pz2j is tier 3 its tier 4 to 10 lol
I’m sure I got bonds for a top gun in my Pz B2
@jerryatrick53 because its the battletier that counts, not the tank tier.
And Tier 8 Match Making ? And Tier 8 vehicles ? I see no mention of what anyone was more concerned about? And besides, the NA sure wasn’t yelling for more GBs. I see another disconnect again. Never really changes does it.
all matchmaking improvements are irrelevant as long as its not skill-based. why put 3 maus against 3 maus if the players of one team dont know how to angle their armor or drive into open field? and no, this dont just matter in tier 10. in fact it matters in every tier BUT tier 10, since the good players have the option to drive their babies in clanwar, fortification etc.
I don’t know why people spamming with that skill-based mm, you can’t even imagine all exploits of that. Just imagine unicum player buying 44% acc with 4k personal rating on 30-40k of battles and unicumming on other “skill-based” player faces in enemy team every battle…so enjoyable…
first off, players with good stats are proud about their good stats. therefore it wouldnt make any sense to buy an account with bad stats. second: if an account with bad stats gets better the matchmaker would simply put it in battles with better players. and even if… you just discribed whats happening at the moment. look at the ranked battles, works like a charm. i get thrown into battles with 27 players who have arround 300 to 1300 wn8… they cant do anything against me. its no fun for them and no fun for me. there is simply no progress and my only motivation to play random is grinding new tanks. its boring for me and frustrating for the others.
Servers still down …
Those WG lazy bastards should stop drinking vodka and start working 12.05. CEST and EU servers down
for the patch no? they gave notice that the server would be down no?

I have the A barrel gun on the caernaveron–
(don’t bother to correct if spelling is wrong)
— what happens when the patch hits?
Will I be forced to research the new gun from scratch or will it be unlocked by default??
4202P have BUFF ?
Removed under CT version but OK in 9.20.1 official 🙂
OPPPPPPPppppp !!!! 🙂
Ok, now I know this is just a visual “bug” but how the f**k is the Conqueror going to shoot its grenade launchers? (They dont work in the game of course, but the damn spaced armor is covering them… )
really sloppy work from WG….
Just played the super conq, trying to side scrape getting penned through the tracks,i suggest wargaming update has not fully updated this tank, anyone else noticed this problem?
so,many of the British tanks got their turrets buffed, even the FV4202, which received several buffs now, since it became a premium, but why not the FV201 (A45)?
Agreed. Trying to play this tank as anything but top tier is misery. Can’t pen them. Pisa poor accuracy and gun handling. No armor and no speed to compensate for the lack of armor. But at least my favorite tier 8 premium got another round of buffs. And it’s the only teir 8 I didn’t buy.
t8 MM is still piece of shit so I dont care…
What happened to the 183B replacement? I received the Super Conqueror, but no Super Tort in garage.
super tort in December-January
Seriously? though thought u / players were that special that WG was going to give u 2 free tier 10 tanks for replacing 1? wow
Hi Rita. Could you maybe tell me/us if WG has made any responces to this terribly glitchy patch. There are complaints alll over the forums but i cant find any solutions or responces from WG
Why in Gods name did they nerf the Alpha of the Rheinmetall Panzerwagen? Because it was so OP??? Jesus fucking Christ…
Did they? What is the average Alpha damage now?
What is the timing of the HD maps?
