Boy I sure like some RMG
r M g? Random Mother Generator?
Too many clicker clips in my opinion. The least enjoyable class to play (boring + only RNG instead of skill) and play against (tomatoes being able to deal a lot of damage), not improving the gameplay at all. It simply reminds me what definitely needs to be changed in WoT so it becomes more attractive again.
The rest of the video is fine, enjoyable to watch.
Too much arty pancakesvin this episode 🙂
Exactly my thoughts. The editing is good and the clips with regular tanks are fun to watch, but it features way too much clicker “action” to thoroughly enjoy it.
If you understood the mechanics of regular tanks and the mechanics of artillery then it’s simply boring to play artillery (because it requires no skill, but 95% RNG) and extremely annoying to get hit by one from the enemy team.
It’s always interesting to see that higher skilled players in their normal tanks enjoy those rounds the most when there is no artillery in the line up. They can have a much higher impact without those RNG machines on the opposite side, playing to their own tank’s strengths and punishing the players on the enemy team who don’t know where to go / how to use their tanks.
To make it even worse, it doesn’t even matter much if there is a total tomato controlling the artillery or an (in regular tanks) usually very skilled player. RNG takes over, and even a tomato can oneshot a unicum, who would have no chance in a normal tank because they absolutely didn’t understand the game’s core mechanics. Fair? Not in my eyes.
WoT would be a better place without artillery. My opinion.
